The Carroll Merchants are proud to announce the signing of Zach Berry.

Berry, an outfielder from Okemos, Michigan, is currently in his sophomore season at Grand Valley State University. As a freshman in 2016, Berry appeared in 23 games, stealing his first base against Southern Indiana on February 19th. One day later he would cross the plate for the very first time. He picked up his first career hit and run batted in against Alderson Broaddus on March 11th. He registered a .923 fielding percentage in his first year at GVSU.

In 2017, Berry is currently hitting .333 through four games this season.

The Merchants are excited to welcome Zach to Carroll for the 2017 season.

The familiar face of Nate Phillips will be behind the plate catching for the Merchants again this year! Nate plays college baseball at Indiana University – Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) and his hometown is Yorktown, Indiana. Welcome back Nate!

The Merchants add right handed pitcher Patrick Morrow. The native of Robinson, Texas plays for Hill College. We look to forward to having Patrick this summer!

Welcome Ben McConnell to the 2017 Merchants Roster! Ben is an outfielder and 2nd baseman. Ben plays college ball at Fort Scott Community College and his hometown is Corinth, Texas.
